Get your foundation right with plus size bras
Plus size bras can be one of the biggest headaches for many women! It's often hard to find the right sizes if you're bigger than a D cup, or if you have an unusual combination of band and cup size. Luckily, fashion designers are now paying more attention to the plus size market. The days of frumpy, matronly bras for curvy girls are behind us. Today, it's possible to find sexy, flattering bras that will make you feel great. You'll also be able to pick up specialist bras in larger sizes; if you're wearing a strapless or halter-neck top, it's possible to find the right bra to wear to look your best.
Curvy bras that will turn heads
When you've got a special night planned, sexy plus size bras will make you feel fantastic. Look out for lace details or other special features such as ribbons. A front-fastening hook and eye set-up adds a seriously sexy touch, too. When you buy bras for curvy women, you'll often find that the straps are wider than usual for comfort and support. Don't panic, though. These wide straps can become a feature; look for bralette styles with lace that goes all the way up to the shoulder, for example. Think about colour, too. Red is the classic choice if you want a flirty look, but sexy black is also a great choice – and of course, if it's your wedding night, you might want to opt for a shade of white.
Plus size women's bras for comfort and relaxation
Many women prefer to wear plus size bras at all times, to keep everything under control. When you're relaxing at home, or getting ready for bed, you might find that underwires can dig in painfully. To avoid this, look for soft bras. These should still have enough compression to keep your chest under control; you might even prefer to go for a sports bra with light support. If you're going to be working out, there are plenty of options, too. High-impact sports bras are great if you're going running or playing a fast-moving team sport like football or rugby. A softer, lightly supportive bra is more appropriate for activities such as yoga or Pilates. You might find that a racer back style is easier to wear, and stays in place better while you're moving around – there is no danger of the straps falling down.
